the heat makes everyone
a little crazy
sweaty
as the alcohol produces
louder screams
shorter tempers
sloppier smiles
easier girls
violent men
I was a part of each of those
at some point in my life
still am
but tonight this couch
is comfortable
30 is closer than I had planned
